Previously featured community organisation and charity Foodstock are running a drive for non-perishable food items, new toys, and selection boxes to help local families struggling this Christmas.
The West Belfast based charity ran online live music events to raise money in support of foodbanks throughout the year, and considering the current situation- they have reached out to ask for generous donations to help strugggling families in what may be a particularly challanging Christmas season.
The collection point is currently situated on the Glen Road in West Belfast and donations can be made every Saturday on the run up to Christmas. Volunteers from Foodstock can also organise to collect donations from your doorstep (with PPE and Social Distancing). To organise a drop of or collection of donations, message the Foodstock Facebook page here.
Foodtsock have also set up a Go Fund Me fundraiser to to raise money to buy these items and support families who find themselves struggling at this time of year. You can donate to the fundraiser here.
The Jumble Magazine is independently run and non profit, all of the links above take you directly to the donation and information points/social media pages for this charity. The Jumble Magazine does not receive a cut of any of these donations. This article is to spread awareness only.
